![]() ![]() Load the PCSX2 core then click "Information" then "Core Information" and make certain that all required files (marked with (!)) are listed as "Present" and not "Missing". We'd love to help, but you're going to have to give us something more than "tried everything", because that forces us to assume that you didn't and troubleshoot from the beginning:ġ) Are you able to load the PCSX2 core first (without launching the core or content)? If not, then you either don't have the right core, or the core is in the wrong place.Ģ) Are you able to launch the core without content? If not then you either do not have -all- of the correct BIOS and firmware files, or you do not have them in the right place. If you copy all the directories and system files created by an older version and paste it to the newer one it sort of works, but still you cannot load any game, idk whats going on but on older versions you can load games but the performance is terrible on Snes, NES runs Ok but the aspect ratio of retroarch is all over the place, I play on a CRT. I did notice something in the 'core settings', there this part which says a few things are missing: EROM.BIN (md5) rom1.bin (md5) Present, Required. 2) I dont know what you mean by launch, but I do have a bunch of bioses located at System/pcsx/bios folder. If you guy have any idea on how I can fix, this issue, I would appreciate it a whole lot. 1) Yes, the retroarch is able to load the core, its visible when I click 'Load Core'. I've tried everything I could find on the topic, but nothing ended up working. When I try loading a PS2 game, it says "Failed to open Libretro core". This is the batocera/retroarch system resolution, NOT the emulators rendering resolution. New Update (v1.16.0) Get the latest version of RetroArch right now on your platform of choice.
